Aims:
Share knowledge and expertise on supporting people with mental health challenges;
Identify opportunities for collaborating to reduce mental health inequalities;
Map existing mental health services and referral pathways;
Identify specific mental health needs of vulnerable migrants;
Acknowledge the challenges of front-line work and identify support and training opportunities.
Agenda:
Case study discussion – share lessons learned and identify support options while reviewing anonymised case studies.
Service mapping including overview of NHS Mental Health Service from NHS Colleagues: what mental health support is available and identify any gaps.
Managing difficult situations and maintaining professional and personal boundaries: explore what this means and how to support our own wellbeing.
Next steps and opportunities for collaboration to reduce mental health inequalities.
