Funding Opportunity - Community Creatives

This fund is for Islington Council tenants and leaseholders who are looking to share their creative passion, culture, and skills with the community. Residents can apply for a £800 grant and receive training to develop their skills in teaching creative and cultural activities. 

This may be relevant to some Islington residents you work with. This could include people who:

• have a creative or cultural skill and untapped potential that they would like to share with other people

• want to explore teaching creative or cultural activities or skills 

• are looking to improve their employability skills and confidence for other work opportunities 

• have some spare time that they’d like to give back to their community 

How can you help?

• Share the flyer and email attached with Islington Council tenants and leaseholders 

• Support a resident’s application. There are different ways you can do this that include: accepting funds on their behalf, hosting their sessions at your community or cultural space, providing guidance and support. (Please note residents without support from an external organisation will have support from Islington Council, so this is not a requirement).
