Islington Council/VCFSE Strategy

As part of the Islington VCFSE Leaders Collaborative, we’re inviting you to take part in an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new strategy for Islington’s VCFSE sector.

Working together with London Metropolitan University and Islington Council, Voluntary Action Islington wants to co-produce a strategy with the VCFSE sector that reflects your insights and knowledge to support thriving communities in Islington and to work more effectively with the Council to meet the needs of residents in the coming years.

Being part of developing the strategy you will be able to influence how we:

  • Build on the strengths of the VCFSE and its relationship with the Council

  • Enhance the capacity and sustainability of local organisations, particularly those from underserved communities, increasing their impact

  • Develop communication channels between the Council and the VCFSE, empowering the voice of residents and making best use of their expertise and insights

  • Strengthen collaboration between VCFSE organisations

Please complete the form to register your attendance: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/4hFvhf93dN

Participants will paid the London Living Wage of £13.85 per hour (method to be confirmed) for attending and contributing to the workshops. Location details will be sent to you in advance of the workshops and will take place in Islington.
