Are you ready to let go of 2023? Do you need clarity about your hopes and desires for 2024?

Let go and look ahead is all about releasing anything that no longer serves you in order to make space for more joy and love.

Through a combination of meditation, breathwork, intention setting and gentle yin yoga poses that release tension in both the fascia and mind, we’ll let of limiting beliefs - uncomfortable truths you believe about yourself that are standing in your way - and make positive plans for the year ahead.

Please bring a pen & paper, comfy clothes and an open mind!

Biography

Katie is Strategy Director at And Rising, a creative ventures company helping startups bring new and better ideas into the world, and has been an integral part of the team for over 5 years. After years of personal yoga practice, she journeyed to Bali to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training. There she experienced other transformative practices such as active meditation, pranayama, chanting and ecstatic dance.

Back in the UK, Katie wants to make these soulful, mindful mediums accessible to anyone who wants to let go of stress and anxiety from their daily life while connecting deeply with the self. In September 2023, Katie set up Retreat & Rise Up in collaboration with And Rising, 3 day retreats for founders and business leaders combining business and personal growth in the beautiful surroundings of Cabilla Cornwall, a temperate rainforest. Each retreat comprises business coaching, yoga, meditation, breathwork, intention setting, sound healing and more.

With 4 Rise Up retreats planned for 2024, Katie is currently travelling around Nepal, India, Sri Lanka & Thailand, attending many retreats for her own personal and spiritual growth, gaining knowledge that can be shared with others back in England.

The second half of the Special will introduce you to, and give you a chance to experience some of the four key learning areas of Talk for Health:

• Open and truthful talking

• Empathic listening

• Basic counselling skills

• How to set up an ongoing group

After this event, you can go straight into a Talk for Health Café, where you will learn peer counselling skills and get plenty of space to talk and get/give support. You can also sign up to the Full 4-day Talk for Health Peer Counselling Programme for a deeper therapeutic and skills-building experience.
