Islington Council is inviting providers to attend a 1-hour online pre-market engagement session on Monday 3 June, 10–11am, to discuss the development of a new contract aimed at increasing engagement with Bright Start services among underrepresented communities.
The service will:
Help families from these communities’ access Bright Start services.
Work through trusted community networks and cultural groups.
Make sure support is culturally sensitive and easy to access.
The contract is still in development, and this session offers providers a chance to help shape its design. Target communities may include Somali, Bengali, Turkish, Kurdish, Latin American, Black Caribbean, Eritrean, and others, depending on local needs.
The session will include a presentation outlining the rationale and early ideas for the service, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and submit feedback.
If anyone interested in attending the event or would like more information, please email Carlotta.manzidavies@islington.gov.uk
