Islington Council is inviting providers to attend a 1-hour online pre-market engagement session on Monday 3 June, 10–11am, to discuss the development of a new contract aimed at increasing engagement with Bright Start services among underrepresented communities.

The service will:

• Help families from these communities’ access Bright Start services.

• Work through trusted community networks and cultural groups.

• Make sure support is culturally sensitive and easy to access.

The contract is still in development, and this session offers providers a chance to help shape its design. Target communities may include Somali, Bengali, Turkish, Kurdish, Latin American, Black Caribbean, Eritrean, and others, depending on local needs.

The session will include a presentation outlining the rationale and early ideas for the service, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and submit feedback.
