Come along to our long-awaited café opening, enjoy some refreshments, and meet the wonderful residents and volunteers of Goodinge. Please feel free to share this invitation with your teams and networks – the more the merrier!

If you are not able to attend, please spread the word to residents, friends, family and services as this is open to all residents in Islington. We welcome as many services working with residents with dementia to join us.

The Minds Together Café will officially begin its regular sessions on Thursday 15th January 2026, running monthly on Thursdays, each with a unique theme. Our first theme in January will be “Winter Warmers & Wellbeing.”

The café aims to be a welcoming and supportive space offering:

•            Routine and familiarity for those with memory challenges

•            A judgment-free environment where dignity and compassion are central

•            Opportunities for connection, reducing loneliness and improving mental health

•            Respite and support for carers

•            Access to expert advice and health services, right in the heart of the community

We believe this is the start of something truly special for Islington, and we’d be thrilled to have you there.
