This online event is the launch of an IPPR report titled ‘An Alternative is Possible: Measuring the Impact of Cooperatives’. Through a case study of Outlandish/SPACE4, a worker-cooperative in North London, the report defines how cooperatives are advantageous for their local economies. It proposes a quantitative measurement framework for measuring their unique impact to the places where they operate.
You’ll be hearing from the SPACE4 team, Islington Council’s Inclusive Economy team, and the IPPR researchers who wrote the report. There’ll also be time for a few questions at the end.
Speakers:
SPACE4 - Polly Robbins, Maddy Neghabian & Natasha Natarajan
Islington Council Inclusive Economy and Affordable Workspace Team - Joyce Ogunade
IPPR North - Ryan Swift
