As part of the series of Community Conversations, Healthwatch Islington, VAI and Islington Council are hosting a half day event to discuss Youth Safety.  

The session will take place on Monday 4th December starting at 10am to 1pm at Lift, 45 White Lion Street, N1 9PW.   

The draft agenda is set out below, and it will be updated as soon as possible:

1. Welcome - Emma Whitby, Healthwatch Islington and Navinder Kaur, Voluntary Action Islington

2. Current picture, local issues and work happening in Islington – Curtis Ashton, Islington Council

3. Public Health Approach to Youth Safety – speaker tbc

4. Table discussions – the role of the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector organisations in Youth Safety

5. Examples of local work – e.g. Safe Havens, Parent Champions – speaker/s tbc

6. Roll-out of the bleed control kits – Colin Adams, Brickworks Centre
