Bird Watching in Gillespie Park

Come along for a walk and talk around Gillespie Park to spot the local birds visiting our site. Borrow a pair of our binoculars, take a bird identification leaflet, and join us for a hot drink afterwards.

Please meet at Islington Ecology Centre within Gillespie Park just before 10.00 as the Welcome Talk will start promptly at 10.00. The postcode is N5 1PH and we are a 2 minute walk from Arsenal tube station. If coming out of Arsenal station, turn right and continue around the corner where you'll see a large gate. The building is a blue wooden building.

The centre is fully wheelchair accessible and the walk we take can be wheelchair friendly.

Everything is free but please book a ticket so we can estimate numbers.

Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting muddy. We always stick to paths but they can be muddy if it's been wet.

If you have any questions about the walk, please email alice.evans@islington.gov.uk
