Be the Change is restarting next Thursday 3rd July at Union Chapel, Islington. The workshops start at 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm & will run every Thursday for the next ten weeks.
The project is an applied theatre and creative arts project for adults in recovery, adults looking to support their mental health and those experiencing homelessness or who are vulnerably housed. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, it will continue in blocks of ten weeks every Thursday evening for two hours a week until April 2026.
The project offers participants an opportunity to gain confidence, reclaim their creativity, support their recovery, build community and have some fun!
This next block of workshops is 'Approaches to Acting' and will feature sessions on Method acting, Stanislavski, Brecht, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, Mask work, Puppetry, Meisner and Theatre of the Oppressed. Workshops are run by industry professionals, are FREE to attend and no experience needed.
