Power Up North London is a not-for-profit community organisation supporting local buildings like yours to cut carbon emissions and reduce energy costs. Together with Caxton House Community Centre, Islington Sustainability Network, Octopus Communities Network and Islington Council, we have launched the Archway Community Energy Neighbourhood project. The aim is to identify and decarbonise a cluster of buildings in the Archway area including yours.
We would like to invite you to an open meeting on Monday, 13 October, 6:30–8:30 PM at Caxton House to learn more about the project and how your building could benefit.
Our place-based approach to decarbonisation will:
Deliver practical, tailored support to help participating sites cut energy use and costs
Provide a visible demonstration of community energy in action
Create tangible environmental, social, and economic benefits for the local area
The 13 October meeting will give you the chance to:
Find out how your building could take part and benefit
Learn about funding plans for the project
Meet project partners and other local organisations
Help shape this exciting initiative from the start
We would be delighted if you could join us and explore how your organisation can take part.
