Suicide Awareness Trianing

As part of a new community response to suicide, Rethink Mental Illness are delighted to be able to offer free Suicide Awareness Training to organisations , community groups and individuals within the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington

Who is it for?

This session is for everyone.

How long is the session?

4 hours, plus a one hour break.

What will I learn?

Delivered through a range of activities and case studies, modules covered are:

  • How to look after yourself

  • The stigma associated with suicide and how we can challenge this

  • Warning signs of suicide

  • How to hold a safe conversation with someone who is having thoughts of suicide

This training has been specially co-produced by lived experience experts

The content is engaging and interactive and the delivery methods ensure the subject can be explored fully and safely.
